God is on my side. I must not be concerned with others' thoughts/judgements.  A clear conscience will allow me to avoid the malice of others.  The evil will not harm me.  Attempt to be silent. I must know my faults and be humble.  Help me O' Lord Jesus!

Ch 88 Curiousity about People

Curiosity, curiosity, curiosity.  How many of my daily dealings deal with curiosity of others?  The saying, "curiosity killed the cat" should also be mindful of what curiosity can lead to.  I should avoid gossips of others as much as possible.  I should worry about myself and not my neighbor. Pray: Heavenly Father, give me the strength and fortitude to avoid the temptation of gossip.  Worrying about myself first and foremost and blocking out the noise will lead to future successes.  I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Ch 96 Intelligent Love God deserves all.  How many times do I put other items before God?  I must remember that God has the answers, God brings happiness, and that God is The Way.  All other items bring temporary satisfaction and don't bring true happiness.  Let us ask ourselves, "What are the idols in our lives?" Pray Heavenly Father, Thank you for this day, my health, and Your Love.  Help me to put You first in all things and help me to have the grace to know the times that I am slipping.  I pray this in the name of Jesus.  Amen.
