Ch 78 God's Word to the Desolate

Summary/Thoughts:

God's Will is not always our will.  Help me to put my trust in Your Love and Mercy.  Help me to accept Your Will and live my life to the fullest.  Help me to be the man You Want me to be.

God knows my inner most secrets.  Nothing is hidden from Him.  God is one of Ultimate Power and Might.

None of my belongings belong to myself.  I am only a steward of the gifts God has given me.

Pray:

Heavenly Father, please continue to bless my life.  Please continue to guide me and assist my trust in You.  Allow me to realize that all positives are a blessing.  Continue to clean up the sinfulness in my life.  Help me to make the best use of the gifts, talents, and resources for Your Greater Glory and Honor.  Help me to understand You more and help me to understand myself.  I am nothing without You.  I pray this in the Powerful, Powerful, Name of Jesus.

Amen.

Gospel Mt 5:13-16 Jesus said to his disciples: "You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its taste, with what can it be seasoned? It is no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house. Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father." Thoughts: We need to let our light shine.  We are to bring our Christianity to others.  We should be an example to others and the way we act will draw others to Christ.  Pray: Heavenly Father help me to be a light in this dark world.  Help me to be a true follower of You.  Please show me the way.  I pray this in the Name of Jesus.
